Bursary Funding

Bursary Applications are currently open (from Friday 13th March until Friday 17th April).

Due to limited funds, please note that during this round of bursary applications, certain restrictions apply and we will be unable to consider requests for bursary supported assessments where:

  • The same household has already received bursary support for a previous assessment within the last 12 months
  • Multiple applications for siblings are submitted at the same time; only the first application which is ready to proceed will be considered for bursary support
  • The child/young person has an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP), as their individual needs will be under regular review by appropriate professionals

These restrictions are so that we can extend our support to as many families as possible.

Would you like to be considered for bursary funding?

  • Tell us what difference you think our service that you are applying for (assessment/tuition/consultation) would make to your/your child’s life?
  • Tell us about the challenges faced and what you hope will change in context of home, education, work, and leisure.
If you would prefer to discuss this, rather than write it down, please feel free to contact us on 01252 792 400 or [email protected].

To ensure our bursaries are used for those with the greatest financial need, please explain your financial circumstances by answering as fully as possible.

Please note that if you fail to provide all the required financial information, your booking enquiry with bursary application will be rejected and you will need to start the whole process again.

Please note that we may also request copies of relevant paperwork to support bursary applications.

Fees for individual services are listed on our website. These include:
Dyslexia Assessment with Specialist Assessor £699 (child); £736 (adult).
Dyslexia Assessment with Education Psychologist £962 (all ages).
Tuition £66 an hour.

Please note that assessment payments can be made in up to 3 instalments before the assessment date. Tuition payments can be made at regular intervals and sessions are invoiced monthly after they take place.

All information you provide will be treated in strict confidence and will be used solely for the purpose of assessing your bursary application. Our Privacy Policy can be found here.

**If you wish to withdraw your application or your circumstances change at any point, please contact us at [email protected] to let us know.**
