  • 1:1 tutoring of learners with difficulties in literacy and maths.
  • This experience has provided me with a broad foundation and insight in how to support and improve the skills of learners. It has also informed my work as an assessor, in which a thorough knowledge of specialist support strategies is essential. When assessing I am very aware of how important it is for pupils to feel at ease, and always prioritise this when conducting assessments. It is a pleasure to be working to support others to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Interesting / fun facts

  • I live in a Liverpool Football Club crazed house, with an Anfield plaque on the front door – feel free to ask me about the Prem!
  • I have lived in 3 countries: mostly in the UK but also in France and Iraq.
  • When I was young I wanted to be a professional dog-walker when I grew up – it didn’t happen but I have the best job and couldn’t want another, dog-walker or otherwise!
