• I am dyslexic, autistic and have ADHD - a lived experience that helps me relate to my pupils as well as shape my teaching: structured, playful, visually rich, and deeply affirming for every kind of brain
• Very few humans can match my tea (all types!) consumption; colleagues have described it as “a lifestyle”, “a calling”, and “possibly a minor superpower” (my mug holds 850ml of tea and I have multiple cups a day)
• I enjoy roleplaying, LARPing and playing boardgames such as Quirky Circuits or Space Alert
• I have a 'pun'ishing sense of humour.
• I enjoy things such as fantasy, anime and science fiction
• I live with one dog (a Cocker Spaniel called Wilson), three cats (Zeus the Maine Coon; his daughter, Artemis, who is part Maine Coon and part Bengal; and Frodo, a mixed‑breed mog), and one brother, who is unquestionably the messiest of the lot.
