My interest in special education began having completed a psychology degree at university, which led me to train as a primary school teacher. A number of years working in both inner-city and suburban London schools enhanced my interest in teaching learners with specific learning difficulties. It made me determined to provide the help and encouragement that every child deserves to fulfil their true potential whilst raising their self-esteem.
I completed the Level 5 and Level 7 courses at Helen Arkell and was thrilled to join the team as a Level 5 tutor and specialist assessor.
