CV

  • I have worked with children with Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties since 2018. Inspired by the high level of intelligence I observed in so many children that unfortunately were not achieving academically, I decided to dedicate my professional career to supporting children to find their strengths and fulfil their potential.
  • My Assessing style is focusing on the strengths of the learner and supporting the parents by providing practical and useful recommendations for their child.
  • My teaching style is multisensory, making it as personalised to the pupil as possible.
  • I have completed my Level 5 and Level 7 Diplomas (Teaching and Assessing Learners with Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties) with Helen Arkell (2022-2024)
  • I am a fully qualified APC Assessor (2024)
  • I am a registered Specialist Teacher and Assessor with PATOSS.
  • Prior to becoming a Specialist Teacher and Assessor, I had a career in Marketing, working in the UK and the Netherlands.

Interesting / fun facts

  • I love animals! I have 2 Labrador girls, Maya and Luna.
  • I have been a runner since I was 4 years old, I love racing, particularly half marathons, but have never ran a full one... yet!
  • I really enjoy playing board games with my children, my favourite one is chess!
