CV

  • Helen assesses and teaches learners from KS1 to KS4, working in a multisensory and active way. She is passionate about helping children reach their potential by overcoming the barriers to their learning, and by finding strategies to exploit the many positive and remarkable differences that can come with having dyslexia and other SpLDs.
  • Helen also works as a tutor on Helen Arkell's training courses for professionals, and delivers the HELP course to parents.

Interesting / fun facts

  • Helen has dyslexic family members. She is currently teaching herself to play chess with the aim of someday being able to beat her younger son at a game.
