CV

  • I completed my Level 5 and Level 7 diplomas in teaching and assessing learners with dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) with the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity. I’m a fully qualified APC Assessor, registered with PATOSS.
  • Before moving into specialist teaching and assessing, I had a career in Human Resources, working in London, Geneva and Hong Kong.
  • My journey into this field started at home. As a parent of children with dyslexia, I understand the challenges families face and the difference the right support can make. That’s what inspired me to help other children reach their full potential.
  • I conduct diagnostic assessments, design individual learning plans, and use engaging, multisensory teaching techniques to build confidence and academic success.
  • I stay current with the latest research and teaching methods in SpLDs to offer the best support possible.

Interesting / fun facts

  • I lived in Hong Kong for 13 years and loved exploring its culture and trying different Chinese dishes.
