  • Experienced and enthusiastic Specialist Teacher (Level 5). Am able to offer maths tuition for KS1-KS4. I deliver lessons based on each student’s preferred learning style, giving them strategies and confidence to achieve their full potential. Regularly attend professional development webinars and I believe in a holistic approach. Trained in both dyslexia and dyscalculia.

  • Set up and co- facilitated a weekly support group for the neurodiverse students. It was a safe place where students learned that they were not alone and could express their feelings and difficulties. We helped raise self-esteem by empowering students to realise/celebrate their strengths and by giving them strategies to help with any difficulties.
  • Gave talks to students, parents and teachers about my own dyslexia and ADHD and how I successfully manage my Neurodiversity .
